Years ago my secret santa (my former boss seemed to get stuck with this task each year) gave me Phaidon's THE PHOTO BOOK in the smaller printed paperback version. Little did he know I would peruse that book until the binding split. It's a wonderful, wonderful visional feast of images and information. If you love art, if you love photographic images you will love this publishing company and there really is no better book to remind you of the amazing people and the amazing works that they have made over the years. The layout is simple and pleasing, with a huge image, the basics on the photographer and a little savory bite of knowledge to whet the appetite.
